Death Stranding

At Sony’s E3 press conference fans were treated to a full length gameplay trailer for Hideo Kojima’s upcoming game Death Stranding.

The trailer, seen above, gives us a glimpse into what can be expected when the game launches, however, Death Stranding still has us guessing.

“Sam Porter Bridges… The man who delivers.” This line summed up the trailer, as it seems that the main protagonist (Norman Reedus) will be a courier of sorts, as he can be seen transporting a body, amongst other things throughout. The trailer was, in true Kojima fashion, accompanied by a beautiful musical score, which was contrasted by tense horror elements, displayed via the mysterious invisible creatures. These creatures appear to age their victims rapidly, explaining the need for infants to be carried, although this still needs much explanation.

Also revealed appear to be two new female characters, played by Lea Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner, at the end of the trailer. Also confirmed in Death Stranding are big names such as Guillermo del Toro and Mads Mikkelson, each of whom are set to feature prominently in the game.
