Ghost of Tsushima, the upcoming action-adventure game from Sucker Punch finally has a release date confirmed, as well as a new trailer.
It seems as even though the era of the PlayStation 4 is coming to end this year, Sony are still committed to releasing expansive single-player games. Ghost of Tsushima is one such game from the folks over at Sucker Punch Productions (Infamous, Sly Cooper), transporting players into 13th century Feudal Japan.
In Ghost of Tsushima you play as Jin Sakai, a samurai who must protect his homeland from the invading Mongol general Khotun Khan. In the game players can utalise stealth, or face off against enemies one on one in honourable duels, and can also explore an open world environment.

The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan—until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting—the way of the Ghost—as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.
