After releasing a seemingly legitimate excuse for not renewing The Wolf Among Us for a second season, it turns out Telltale were pulling all of our legs, but we couldn’t be happier.
“I worry about people getting their hopes up in the wrong direction…”
Telltale’s head of communications Job Stauffer told fans on Twitter, but it was all a hilarious joke, and as we wipe away our tears as a smile spreading across our face, we can now get excited. The protagonist, and all round hero, Bigby Wolf will again be voiced by Adam Harrington, with Erin Yvette returning as Snow White too. Watch the trailer above to see the voice actors showing their excitement, and reading amusing Twitter comments.
We can expect new episodes in late 2018, which is a long way away, but at least it’s better than not at all right? The second season will feature a new standalone story, unfortunately not continuing the tease dropped at the end of the first season.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead will also return in 2018 for a final season of episodes. The new series of Telltale’s Batman is currently underway, and you can read our review of the first episode here.
