Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is looking likely to sell like hot cocoa on a wintery day, with a huge audience looking forward to blasting through a unique single player campaign and an expanded multiplayer that is finally bringing back space battles. No doubt a lot of you were eager to delve into the multiplayer beta too, which was live not so long ago. In addition to that, we have more Star Wars content releasing with The Last Jedi trailer dropping, and the name for the Han Solo Star Wars film being announced. Now, more than ever, is a great time to be a Star Wars fan.

But in even better news, a new campaign trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been released, giving us more insight into Iden Versio, our hero (or should we say villain) that we will take control of in just a few weeks. This trailer continues to blur the line of which side we should be rooting for in this galactic struggle for power. Iden Versio is a leader of Inferno Squad, a team set out to quash the Rebellion and clasp hold of power for the Empire; but when the Death Star is destroyed, and the emperor killed, just how will she and her comrades recover?

We are eager to find out whether or not Iden will switch to the lighter side of the force, or if in fact if we will bare witness to an entirely darker side to the Rebellion, leaving the players in suspense. This trailer hints at the possible direction of the story, with a few snippets of dialogue both adding fuel to both sides of the argument, that she will transition to the light side, or delve deeper into the dark. One thing is for sure, it has only cemented our excitement for the game even more.

Watch the trailer above, and prepare to enlist for the Empire when the game launches on November 17th.
