Sony have revealed their latest console to be the PlayStation Classic, which will be available on December 3rd.

Taking inspiration from the NES Classic, Sony are now re-introducing their own retro console to the market. The PlayStation Classic will be half the size of the original PS1, have an HDMI output, and comes with two controllers.

The console comes with 20 pre-loaded games including; TEKKEN 3, Ridge Racer Type 4Final Fantasy VII, and Wild Arms. It is still to be confirmed if players can add games to this library.

PlayStation Classic

“The design of PlayStation Classic perfectly mirrors the original console, with the same logo, button layout and packaging – but 45% smaller than 1994’s PlayStation. This miniature console comes complete with two wired controllers, an HDMI cable to connect to your TV, plus a virtual memory card to save your adventures as you switch between titles.” – playstation.com

The PlayStation Classic is available to preorder for £89.99, and launches on the 24th anniversary of the original PlayStation on December 3rd.
