PS Plus

The free games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers this coming month have been announced.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Hideo Kojima’s last entry into the Meal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, allows players to explore an open-world sandbox as the legendary Big Boss. Whether it’s Afghanistan or Africa, Snake can use an array of gadgets, upgrades and weapons to lethally or silently incapacitate his enemies.

Hailed for its gameplay and criticised for its story, Metal Gear Solid V is a technical showcase; a culmination of Kojima’s amazing work with the franchise.

Amnesia: Collection

Just in time for Halloween, Frictional Games’ cult horror hit Amnesia is also available on PS4 as the Amnesia: Collection.

Players who are brave enough to pick up a controller (and a lantern) can experience three terrifying stories. Amnesia: The Dark Descent, A Machine for Pigs and Justine are all included in the collection, and follow individual protagonists as they face their fears.

More PS Plus games

The other games included in this month’s PS Plus line-up are; Monster Jam Battlegrounds (PS3), Hustle Kings (PS3), Hue (PS Vita & PS4), and Sky Force Anniversary (PS Vita & PS4). That’s You and RIGS: Mechanised Combat League are also available as bonus games.

The free downloadable games listed above will be available on the PlayStation Store from October 3rd. Players can still download September’s free games until then.
