Metro Exodus has revealed a brand-new trailer at Gamescom, complete with some pretty terrifying mutant creatures.

The trailer, seen above, shows off some of the above-ground environments that players will be able to explore on launch. It seems to go from bright and hopeful; displaying natural wildlife, to chaos, and finally extreme tension. Also detailed are some eerie and unsettling locations, complete with monsters, cults, and the paranormal.

Metro Exodus is available to pre-order now, with a limited ‘Aurora’ edition, which includes a steelbook, the season pass, and a Metro artbook. The game will be released on February 22nd 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
