Elden Ring

FromSoftware fans rejoice as Elden Ring gameplay has finally surfaced, alongside a new trailer and a release date at the Summer Game Fest.

Ooooh Elden Ring

The wait has been long, however Summer Game Fest has delivered the goods with a lengthy and detailed gameplay trailer which gives players a deeper look into the world which FromSoftware and George R. R. Martin have crafted together.

As seen in the above trailer, it looks as though we will be swapping the chosen undead for “the tarnished” as players journey to find the Elden Ring. The world looks bleak yet interesting, with towering and awesome-looking enemies aiming to stop you at every turn.

Details on the game, which is slated for a January 21st 2022 release, can be found in the below tweet. The game will have customisation, a large open-world (big enough to traverse on a trusty steed), a dynamic weather system, and NPCs that will help or hinder your character’s progress.

Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.

In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered…

We will be waiting eagerly for any other news on the game, but at least we now know that it is coming out early next year and that it looks fantastic.
