After much anticipation Infinity Ward have revealed the next Call of Duty in the franchise, simply dubbed Modern Warfare.
The trailer shows some in-game footage of what appears to be a stealth mission, as Captain Price returns after 8 long years, bringing some “old comrades” along with him.
The theme seems to be that warfare is becoming more and more of a grey area, with Price and his team sent in amongst the changing world to get the job done. He even remarks that they get dirty, so that the world stays clean… very ominous but hopefully more will be announced at E3 in June. The one thing we do know is that campaign mode is back.

News has come in stating that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature co-op, multiplayer, and a ‘realistic’ campaign, with weapon progress tracking all three modes. It will also have a brand new engine, won’t feature a season pass, and will have customisable ‘operators’. The game is also said to be cross platform between PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
