Silence of the Siren Splash

Silence of the Siren is an upcoming old-school turn-based strategy game, where you explore what’s left on a series of war-torn planets, building up your bases and armies, and dispatching foes. Scavenge the ruins of ancient technologies, but be aware of what you may wake from below…

Silence of the Siren Combat

Explore what’s left on the planets and secure important resources. Use them to upgrade your bases with advanced technology and to hire massive armies. Play as several different factions, recruit skilled commanders, teach them new skills and lead them into battle. Overcome obstacles on the map to gather powerful equipment and ancient artifacts.

The Siren star system has been cut off from the rest of the galaxy, and it’s resulted in a split of all the factions that call it home. In the midst of all these multiple wars the player can take the role of different factions, and lead commanders into battle, levelling them up as you go. It all sounds very Heroes of Might and Magic, but in space. Not that I’m complaining, I’ve always had a soft spot for that style of game, but found that they often have a multitude of problems and factors they need to improve before I can truly enjoy them. Perhaps this is finally the one that does it well enough?

Encounter a wide range of enemies in turn-based combat, use your tactical thinking to gain advantage on the battlefield.

Silence of the Siren

The developer, Oxymoron Games released the not-that-popular Project Hospital back in 2020, though with a 95% positive rating on Steam it’s not due to a bad game, and what they’ve shown of Silence of the Siren looks to be high quality. The Prague based team has members that have worked on games ranging from Mafia II to Total War: Three Kingdoms and Silent Hill: Downpour. Definitely one to keep an eye out for.

The release date has currently not been announced and is TBC.
