The title uniquely has no dialogue, and is about solving puzzles through simple clues in the environment, and the folklore you experience as you go. Developed by Infuse Studio and published by Merge Games, Spirit of the North releases on May 7th for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Spirit of the North seems to take gameplay inspiration from mainstream titles like Journey, with the quiet, speechless gameplay set against an orchestral soundtrack, and tastefully chosen sound effects.

The game is developed by only three people, two working on the title itself, Tayler Christensen and Jacob Sutton, with Joseph Gifford working on the musical score.
