Resident Evil: The Board Game gets super funded with days to go

Table-top game creators Steamforged Games have unveiled their latest project which is already funded (and then some); Resident Evil: The Board Game.

Resident Evil: The Board Game

“Based on the 2002 remake of the original Capcom video game, Resident Evil: The Board Game is a cooperative survival horror game for 1-4 players.”

Kickstarter projects – Steamforged Games

The multiplayer game, which was announced on Resident Evil socials last week, has already secured nearly 6000 Kickstarter backers, with almost £1,000,000 raised as part of it’s £100,000 goal.

Steamforged, who also made the Resident Evil 2 & 3 board games, are casting players deep into the heart of the Spencer Mansion as classic S.T.A.R.S. members Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. Players then have to investigate a series of bloody murders in order to escape, but be careful, if one player dies everyone fails.

The ‘Bravo Pledge’ which is available for £72.00 entitles backers to 4 player characters, 28 enemies, 21 double-sided tiles, 250+ cards, 100+ tokens, 11 dials, 6 dice, 1 rulebook, 1 scenario book and all unlocked goals. There is also an ‘Alpha Pledge’ for £217.00 which includes even more Resident Evil goodies.
