PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to playing indie puzzler The Witness, along with the juggernaut that is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
The Witness
Eight years in the making, Jonathan Blow’s The Witness combines satisfying puzzle solving with a twisting narrative that will hook players looking for a challenge.
Released in 2016, the game is set on a deserted island covered in interlinking puzzles, as well as boasting some very striking visuals.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
A game that needs no introduction, Modern Warfare Remastered brings the classic shooter to PS4 and in glorious 4K on PS4 Pro.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare kick-started a sub-genre in the world of first-person shooters, taking the series into a modern setting for the first time back in 2007. Whether it’s playing through the epic campaign and re-experiencing “All Ghillied Up” or taking the fight online, it is definitely worth picking up.
Both games will be available to download from March 5th.
As a reminder, the PS Plus free game offerings for PS3 and PS Vita have now concluded, though February’s games are still available until March 8th.
This adds to the speculation that we may be getting a glimpse of the ‘PS5’ at this year’s E3, which is also rumoured to getting backwards compatibility with all PS4, PS3, PS2 and PS1 titles, but we will have to wait and see.
