Sony have revealed the free games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers for February, and the announcement has already received mixed reactions.
Knack
This is the reason why. Many gamers now expect at least one ‘AAA’ title to be included with their PS Plus free monthly games, and this PS4 launch title may not fit the bill for some.
Knack, which came out in 2014, is the family friendly platformer, notorious for its vanilla story and gameplay. A sequel, Knack 2, was released last year to similarly mixed reviews.
RiME
RiME is a cartoony single-player puzzle game in which the player takes control of a young boy as he tries to unlock the secrets of a mysterious island.
Other PS Plus games
The other titles included this coming month are; Spelunker HD (PS3), Mugen Souls Z (PS3), Exiles End (PS Vita), Grand Kingdom (PS Vita/PS4).
All PlayStation Plus members can get Starblood Arena as a bonus game through March 6. This arena combat game was built from the ground up to be played in VR with your PS VR headset. Lastly, for all Gems of War fans, get your hands on the new PlayStation Plus Starter Pack starting February 13th through March 13th. – PlayStation Blog
