PlayStation and Kojima Productions have today revealed a new trailer detailing the release date of highly anticipated action game Death Stranding.
While the trailer is nearly 9 minutes long, fans will still be left wanting more as not much back-story is actually revealed. The trailer instead focuses more on building Kojima’s post-apocalyptic world, showcasing the various characters that will feature.
From what can be seen, it seems as though Sam (Norman Reedus) will be tasked with trying to “save” America, however, whether that can actually be achieved is another story. Between terrorists and the ever-present threat of the “BTs” is seems like a tall order. There is also a theme of rebirth via the “bridge babies”, which still doesn’t make sense, but this continues to be explored with every trailer released. Oh and not to mention the sinister vibes given off from the seemingly undying Mads Mikkelsen.
