Dead Island 2 has had a brand-new gameplay trailer shown off at this years’ Gamescom.
8 years after it’s initial teaser trailer, the sequel to 2011’s Dead Island has resurfaced at Gamescom and is available in multiple editions to pre-order now. The gameplay trailer (above) details developers Dambuster’s vision for the game (being the third studio to work on the title), in a new setting, and with an emphasis on “ridiculously gruesome gore tech”.
In Creative Director James Worrall’s own words:
Firstly, Dead Island is known for its fantastic Paradise Gone to Hell setting, and our zompocalypse takes place in none other than the City of Angels. We take players on a rollercoaster ride through many of the picture postcard LA locations, from the beaches of Venice and Santa Monica through to the luxurious mansions of Bel Air and beyond.
