Activision and Sledgehammer Games have revealed a gritty trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: WW2 map pack, titled ‘The Resistance’, which will be available on January 30th on PS4.
The DLC features three new maps, including Occupation, a remake of a classic MW3 map (appropriately named Resistance), which takes place in German-occupied Paris. Also included is a new War mode mission, and a continuation of the Nazi Zombies story in The Darkest Shore.

The Resistance community event is currently under way, allowing players to unlock new gear to take into the DLC. This includes new outfits, melee weapon, Division and two new guns; the Orso SMG and the Volkssturmgewehr. Also returning is the community favourite game mode Prop Hunt, which was added to Modern Warfare Remastered.
It will be interesting to see if Sledgehammer has other community events planned centered around the launch of new map packs, and if they do it may encourage more players to come back to the game.
